Crossing over the Queen Wilhelmina bridge, your trolley train will continue to Scharloo, a former residential neighborhood lined with picturesque villas built during the last part of the 1800's. You will stop for a photo at Bolo di Batrei, known as the wedding cake house, as it is the city’s most photographed building. Leaving Scharloo, you will pass Pietermaai Cathedral, the largest and most impressive religious building on the island. Next, you will continue to the Queen Wilhelmina Park, the location of frequent cultural events, and drive by the Waterfort Arches, an imposing fortress that was the site of the Willhem III Barracks.
